Translation
Sacred to the Spirits of the Dead, to Quintus Cadius Fronto, 25 years old, died in Rome, here lie his remains. Cadia Tusca, 30 years old, here she lies. Marcus Cadius Rufus put this up for the best and most dutiful children. Cornelia, daughter of Fronto, 23 years old, Albura, mother of Fronto and Tusca, here she lies, Cadius Rufus for the best wife, may the earth rest lightly upon you.
Commentary
Origin not given, but probably Scallabis, where he (and the rest of his family) was commemorated by his father after his death in Rome. Note also the return of his remains to Scallabis.
