Translation

Sacred to the Spirits of the Dead, to Lucius Aelius Quintus, 22 years old, Lucius Aelius Datius Parthus of Antioch had this made for his 'brother' (frater) and patron.

Commentary

Parthus is taken here to indicate an ethnicity in Parthia, and the point of origin mapped as Antiochia in Margiana (Pl. 961873).
