Apparatus

L.3. EDH reads <F>laccus. L.4-5. EDH reads [---] ami/cus. AE reads the same, but suggests [Inter]ami/cus as origin of Placidius.

Translation

To the Spirits of the dead, Placidus Flaccus of the Interamici, 60 years old, here he lies.

Commentary

Disputed origo as based on restoration of inscription. Images of stone show break in middle. If Interamici, could refer to the people of the Interamici or to an urban settlement of the same name (also known as Civitas Interamici: TM Geo 25467).
