Translation

Fuscus Dorilsis, son of Eptaecentus, soldier from the Thracian cohort, of the century of Iulius Martialis, with his home at Serdica, 25 years old, 9 years service, here he lies.

Commentary

Le Roux (1982: 122) notes that Fuscus is most likely in Asturica for administrative reasons. Le Roux (1982: 90) dates this to the mid first century AD, probably Claudian.
