Lucius Herrenius Gallicus, son of Lucius, of the Galeria tribe, with his home at Ugia. Soldier of the X legion Gemina, in the century of Licinius Clemens, 29 years old, 9 years service, here he lies.

Commentary

Le Roux (1982: 325) suggests recruitment in the Tiberian-Claudian period and (1982: 255) dates the inscription to before AD 68.
