Translation
Germanus, a samnis (gladiator) from the Iulianus [training school], fought 14 times, of the people of Greece, 30 years old, here he lies.
Commentary
This inscription has been mapped to a representative point in the province of Achaia. Note the discrepancy between his name and his ethnic origin.
