Translation

The murmillo (gladiator) Cerinthus from the Neronianus, fought 2 times, of the people of Greece, 25 years old. His wife Rome put this up for him, well deserving, I ask you passing by to say 'may the earth rest lightly upon you'.

Commentary

Neronianus denotes a gladiator from the imperial training school at Capua. This inscription has been mapped to a representative point in the province of Achaia.
