CIL II 5068 indicates characters lost at the end of L.5 and the beginning of L.6 but corrected in CIL II 5550. Image of stone on HEpOnl shows no characters lost. L.5-6. Norbensis is marked as an expansion in CIL II 5550, but not in HEpOnl which reads stone as Norbensis. The image of the stone on HEpOnl shows that it reads Norensis.

Commentary

Note the personal name Norbana derived from origin, alongside the explicit adjectival designation of origin. cf. 23725.
